Billing and Subscription

How billing works in Krokanti Tasks — plans, upgrades, cancellation, and payment management.

Krokanti Tasks uses Stripe to process all payments. Your payment information is never stored on Krokanti servers.

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading to Pro

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  2. Click Upgrade to Pro.
  3. You'll be redirected to a Stripe checkout page.
  4. Enter your payment details and confirm.

Pro activates immediately after payment. You'll get access to Calendar and Gantt views, file uploads, and 90-day activity history right away.

Upgrading to Team

Team plan upgrades create a new team space. From the sidebar:

  1. Click Create space.
  2. On the space creation dialog, select Team plan.
  3. Complete the Stripe checkout.

Your new team space is created immediately.

The Pro plan applies to your personal space. The Team plan creates a separate team space. You can have both at the same time — Pro for your personal workspace and Team for a shared team space.

Managing Your Subscription

Go to Settings → Subscription to:

  • See your current plan and renewal date.
  • Download invoices.
  • Update your payment method.
  • Cancel your subscription.

Clicking Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can manage all of the above.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's what happens:

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage billing.
  2. Click Cancel plan in the Stripe portal.
  3. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  4. After expiry, your account drops back to the free tier.

Your data is never deleted when you downgrade. All your projects and tasks remain. You'll just lose access to paid features (like Calendar view and Gantt) going forward.

Refunds

We offer refunds within 7 days of a charge if you haven't used the paid features. Contact support at support@krokanti.com with your account email and we'll process it.

Payment Methods

Krokanti Tasks accepts all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. We do not currently offer invoicing or purchase orders.

FAQ

Is there a free trial for Pro or Team? The free plan is extensive — you can use Krokanti Tasks indefinitely. There's no time-limited trial for paid plans, but you can cancel within 7 days for a full refund.

What happens to team members if I cancel the Team plan? Team members lose access to the team space when the plan expires. Their personal accounts and data are not affected.

Can I switch from monthly to annual billing? Annual billing is coming soon. Contact support@krokanti.com if you'd like to be notified when it's available.
