Team Spaces and Member Invitations

How to create a team space, invite members, and manage roles and permissions in Krokanti Tasks.

2 min read·Krokanti Tasks Help

Krokanti Tasks uses Spaces as the top-level container for team collaboration. Each space has its own set of projects, members, and settings.

Space Types

Personal space — Created automatically when you register. Private to you. Cannot be deleted. Free plan users only have a personal space.

Team space — A shared workspace for your team. Requires the Team plan. Team spaces can have multiple members with different roles.

Creating a Team Space

  1. Click Create space in the sidebar.
  2. Give your space a name and optional description.
  3. Choose an icon and color (optional).
  4. Click Create.

Your new team space appears in the sidebar alongside your personal space.

Inviting Members

From your team space, go to Space settings → Members → Invite.

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select their role:

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control: manage settings, billing, delete space
AdminManage members, create projects, edit all tasks
MemberCreate and edit tasks, create projects
ViewerView-only access to all projects

Click Send invitation. The invitee receives an email with a link to join. The invitation expires after 7 days.

The person being invited doesn't need to have a Krokanti Tasks account yet. They'll be prompted to create one when they accept.

Managing Members

Go to Space settings → Members to see all current members and pending invitations.

From here you can:

  • Change a member's role — click their current role to see the dropdown.
  • Remove a member — click the three-dot menu next to their name.
  • Resend an invitation — for pending invitations, click Resend.
  • Cancel an invitation — click Cancel on a pending invitation.

Private Projects

By default, all projects in a space are visible to all space members. To restrict access:

  1. Open the project and go to Project settings.
  2. Toggle Make this project private.
  3. Set per-user access for the project under Project members.

Private projects use a separate permission layer on top of space roles.

Seat Limits

The Team plan includes 5 seats. Additional seats can be purchased separately.

The Owner counts as one seat. Each invited member who accepts takes one additional seat.

Viewers do not count toward your seat limit.
