Troubleshooting Common Issues
Solutions to the most common problems in Krokanti Tasks. Can't log in, missing tasks, sync issues, and more.
Here are solutions to the most frequently reported issues. If your problem isn't listed here, contact support at support@krokanti.com.
I Can't Log In
If you signed up with Google: Click "Continue with Google" — don't try to use email/password unless you set a password separately.
If you forgot your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click "Forgot password?"
- Enter your email and click Submit
- Check your inbox (including spam folder)
- Click the reset link within 1 hour
If your account was created via invitation: The invitation goes to a specific email address. Make sure you're signing in with that exact address.
If you see "email not verified": Check your inbox for the verification email sent at signup. Check your spam folder. You can request a new verification email from the login page.
My Tasks Aren't Showing Up
Check the active project: Tasks belong to specific projects. Make sure you're viewing the right project in the sidebar.
Check for archived tasks: Archived tasks don't show in the main view. If you archived a task by mistake, you can unarchive it from the task detail panel.
Check the filter/search: If a filter is active, only matching tasks are shown. Clear all filters with the × button.
Wait for sync: If you're on a slow connection, tasks may take a few seconds to load. Pull down to refresh or reload the page.
Drag and Drop Isn't Working
On mobile: Drag-and-drop requires a 250ms long press before dragging. Hold your finger on the card until it "lifts", then drag.
On desktop: If dragging doesn't respond, try clicking away to deselect anything, then try again.
After reordering: Position changes are saved automatically. If a task snaps back to its original position, it may be a sync error — reload the page.
I'm Not Receiving Email Notifications
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Add
hello@krokanti.comto your contacts or safe senders list - Check that your email address is verified (Settings → Profile)
- Check that your account email is correct (Settings → Profile → Email)
The App Is Slow
Clear the cache: Hard-reload the page with Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
Try a different browser: If the issue is browser-specific, clear cookies and site data for tasks.krokanti.com.
Disable browser extensions: Some ad blockers or privacy extensions can interfere with the app. Try in a private/incognito window.
I Lost Access to a Space
If a team member removed you: Only the space owner or admin can reinvite you. Contact them directly.
If you left the space: You cannot re-join without a new invitation. Ask the space owner to invite you again.
If the space was deleted: Deleted spaces and their data cannot be recovered.
My Subscription Isn't Showing
After completing Stripe checkout, subscription activation can take up to 60 seconds. Reload the page and check Settings → Subscription.
If it still shows Free after 5 minutes, contact support with your order confirmation email.
